Is everyone aware of the symptoms of stridor, the noise a baby/young child makes when they have breathing difficulties? Considering its one of the main symptoms of respiratory distress I wasn't warned about it in my neonatal classes, were others told about it on here? The NHS website only talks about it in relation to croup, but it can be a symptom of other conditions too. Grunting should also be watched out for too, not mentioned as often as other more obvious respiratory distress symptoms:
