Baby acne

Is this normal for baby acne or should I go see a doctor? She's 5 weeks and it's just getting worse. Started a week ago with just small spots.

My son is almost 6 weeks and has had it for a few weeks, my GP did say that it will go away on its own as this would be the age they would get it but it would also get worse before it gets better. I have also looked this up online and it can take either a few weeks or months to clear. Hope this helps.

Dc4 had bad acne for about 8 weeks when he was that age, it was everywhere, in his hair on his back and the top of his chest, not pretty to look at but once it started clearing it cleared quickly and left no marks.

Did your childs head and ears get dry and flaky at any point? I am concerned that it will scar him, I am putting vaseline and baby lotion on him but it's not doing anything yet
