Nasal congestion

I am sure this is common bur there seems only a few staple things you can do for this in a young baby. So stressful to see them not being able to breathe properly. All doctors say the same.. it will pass, use saline which really does nothing. PB-L has had Broncholitis for 9 days...

The sterimar baby was the best I found to degunk them. Cool air - particularly to help them sleep - so going out for shady breezy walks at nap time. Granted heatwaves don’t help this bit!
hang in there it’s often worse for us we just want them to be better.

How long is piece of string?! Totally depends. My 6yo had covid 3 weeks ago and is still producing the world’s greenest gunk from his nose. Sometimes they seem over it quickly sometimes one thing follows another and another. Try not to worry. If they’re feeding and sleeping that’s a good thing. Other things to help are snufflebabes drops in the bath / on pillow and the balm on the chest. Also the Calpol plug ins if you don’t have them already.

Broncholitis is scary for you and awful to watch your child go through and to have. hugs 🤗
