Temperature after 1 year vaccinations

Hi all,

I’m hoping this is going to be a straightforward nothing to worry about - but just wanted to ask other peoples experiences!
My 1 year old had her vaccines 9 days ago, and initially seemed to sail through it. The last couple of days she has had a temperature which has been fairly persistent. I’m assuming this is linked to the vaccinations as I understand the MMR doesn’t kick in until around now?
My concern is that we re supposed to be going on holiday on Wednesday! I wanted to delay the vaccines because of this but was told it was better she had them before we went.
Can anyone tell me if they had this with the temperature, and if so how long it lasted?
Any other things I should be looking out for at this point?

thank you

Its an unfortunate side effect of the vaccinations, and it is best to have them before you go.
Give Calpol as necessary and make sure she’s eating/drinking/playing. It should pass in a day or two.
