I'm going to get an appointment hopefully at the doctors tomorrow but any idea what this is?

My daughter woke up with blood on her pillow, or maybe it was wax? And her ear is like this. It shows no sign of it leaking out of the ear. Just the top?

Is there any swelling? Could be an infection called mastoiditis that can be quite serious so worth googling symptoms to see if they match and getting checked if so

Looks fungal. I'd put some Sudacrem on to start with while you're waiting to see the GP or some Canesten if you have any.

Could it be an insect bite?- I can't see a bite point.
