Teething/tongue tie

Bit of a two for one post, does this look like teething, our girl is only 2 months old but she is chewing her hands and seeming really grumpy in the evenings do her gums look like teething gums? Also I’ve had her checked for tongue tie before but I feel like the nurse just glanced and said it was fine but I feel like sometimes she looks like she is tongue tied and she doesn’t have a great latch for breastfeeding and I have to use nipple shields - please excuse the milk mouth, this is was not an easy photo to get 😅

I would say yes to both, nurses aren’t qualified to look for tongue tie, you need to contact a specialist to confirm. They can cut it very easily and it’s circa £150.

I think it may have been a doctor actually that looked at it if that makes any difference but little bub was quite placid and wasn’t lifting her tongue up in the same way she does when she cries so I’m wondering if she actually didn’t get a great look at it
