DD not feeding in this heat?????

DD has COVID & has a temperature. In UK at the moment it is hotter than the sun

DD is dosed up on medication but sleeping more than usual. DD is also not too keen on feeds. (Only really taking 2/3oz). I wouldn’t be too concerned as DD is unwell.

but the added temperature (currently 28 degrees at 10am) is concerning me about dehydration.

should I wake DD to feed? Even though she is unwell and peacefully asleep?

I would definitely try to make sure the baby was hydrated in this temperature, so yes I would wake your baby to feed. Look up signs of dehydration in a baby (sunken fontanelle was one of them if I remember rightly) and call the health visitor for advice.

I hope your baby recovers fast - hopefully this heat should diminish fairly soon, but it is important to keep hydrated in this heat, especially a young and poorly child. Please don't hesitate to seek medical advice from the NHS if you're at all worried.
