Baby UTI - please help!

My almost 1 year old has had a fever for 6 days and has just been diagnosed with an UTI and started antibiotics straight away.
Her symptoms are fever, generally unwell, doesnt want to play, lethargic, sleeping a lot which is very unusual. Shes usually so bouncy! Its like she doesnt have the energy to do anything, even crawl.
My mind is going to scary places so if anyones had the same experience i would love to hear.

My DD had her first UTI just before she turned one. Same symptoms plus vomiting/not eating. Was very poorly but the antibiotics did the trick. Took about 2-3 days to get her feeling better once she started taking them. The fact your DD been diagnosed and got antibiotics means she should make a fairly quick recovery now. Hope she feels better soon.

Thanks so much for this, shes also literaly sleeping all the time and waking up unconsolable with a low temperature. Doctors adamant that it’s still an uti and gave stronger antibiotics. Did you find this with the sweating and sleeping? So stressed!
