Lead poisoning?

Hello dear mums, my one month old son has extreme diaper rash and our GP prescribed something called goulard water. I have been using it for 4 days. I just checked online and realized that it's simply lead water. Now I can't sleep because I think I damaged my son's future. Have you heard something like that? Do you think it is safe? Obv, I stopped using it though. Thanks

If you are concerned I’d go and speak to the pharmacist who dispensed it, they could probably put your mind at rest.

Sudocrem is excellent for nappy rash. Slather it on after cleaning to soothe and act as a barrier between changes. I used it pretty much every change for months, as a preventative measure, and DS only once had a rash that lasted only a couple of days.

If the nappy rash is very red, open or wet please do not slather any cream on!
You need to use very minimal just for comfort.
My daughter had it very had when she was younger due to allergy's and every dr and specialist we see said you can be causing more damage by putting loads of cream on as the moisture helps it grow xx
