Preschool immunisations

DD is due for her preschool jabs but apparently she was supposed to have them at 3 years 4 months old. I didn’t know this.

So have called up to get an appointment but the earliest slot they have available is the last week of July.

She will be almost 3 years 7 months old by then.

Is that too late for her to have the jabs or will she have an adverse reaction to them because they’re 3 months late?

No harm in having them late at all. Better late than never!

Maybe they are running behind? Or her appointment was mislaid? 3 months will not make any difference whatsoever long as you get them done that’s the main thing.

Thank you for your replies. Yes, I was actually lucky to even get this appointment as they only have one nurse and her appointments are far and few between. Thanks again for putting my mind at rest.

Any time after 3y 4m is fine

My DD had them at 4. We used to live in the US, they do them at 4 and I had no idea the UK was any different until I called to book her in. All was fine, after all if there was any risk I doubt the Americans would be doing it that way!
