Bedbugs bites?? Please help!

My DS2 (9 months old) has come up in these weird spots on his face overnight after sleeping in my bed for some of the night. He's had a couple on his leg like this too. DS1 sleeps in his own bed and has nothing on his body like this, and I dont have any either. Do they look like bed bug bites? Or just a coincidence 🤔
DP is in the army and has recently done 2 weeks at a different camp/bed so not sure if he could have brought something back with him!! TIA

Not chickenpox is it? Surely if it was bedbugs you would’ve been bitten too, if he slept in your bed?

Hello perhaps try some lavender or tea tree to treat the spots. If they look nasty or are getting bigger, or if he has any swelling etc speak to Doctor or pharmacist.’As no one else in your home has them it is possible he has picked up a big while away.

@RichardOsmansXraySpecs No don't think so, DS1 had pox years ago and didnt look like these. They have yellow inside some, like acne spots?

I'll be stripping beds and hoovering like a mad woman in the meantime 😂

@LaingsAcidTab Thanks, will keep an eye on it then. Other family members have recently had pox but we've not had direct contact with them🤔

If you are still worried it may be bed bugs then check the sheets for bed bug poops. They look like dark spots- like a pen mark.

Yes @RichardOsmansXraySpecs I think some more have appeared on his face through the day, though it's hard to tell because I'm so sleep deprived 😂😂 I think he does have the pox!

Oh well I hope it’s only mild and he gets over it soon (if it is chickenpox).
