Cold sore and 3 month old

Just looked in the mirror and I have a big spot that started to tingle and it looks like a cold sore 🤦🏻‍♀️ I've not had one in 20 years
I'm not sure if it was there this morning but I wasn't feeling any tingling.

The problem is that I have a 3 month old and I've been kissing him all day 😣 what have I done. I hate myself

Is there anything I can do now? How stupid can I be?
I'm panicking like never before. Should I take him to the gp?
I've got a patch on now to stop the spreading but I bet it's too late.

Hopefully your baby will be fine. If your lip wasn't tingling then hopefully there would be no open sore or blister to allow transmission at the time you were kissing him.
I'm sure someone with medical knowledge will be able to give you more advice though.
