Could this be covid? Something else ?

Dd8 has been very wakeful for the past week. She’s up and down about four times a night, saying she feels sick. At first I thought it was the heat and she’s quite needy at the best of times. The last two nights though she’s been having diarrhoea and complaining of tummy ache. She had dark green diarrhoea last night and a bit of a temp so I ended up staying in her room last night. She’s now very hoarse with a sore throat and a cough. Negative LFT. I’ve got a GP appointment later

DS (4) had this a couple of weeks ago. He usually sleeps through but started waking at night multiple times, occasionally to have a poo. He complained of a sore tummy repeatedly and stopped eating but was never sick. He also then started with a bad cough, it was a random mixof symptoms!

We did send off a stool sample but as the GP predicted , he got better before the results came through. Results were normal.

My theory is that it was Covid as it was rife at nursery but he's hard to test so we just don't know for sure.
