Hi, I've noticed my nearly 6yr old daughter grinds her teeth in her sleep, how can i stop this? I'm worried about tooth damage

Are your children’s vaccines up to date?

The only way to stop it is with a bite guard from the dentist. There is some evidence that anxiety makes it worse but some children and adults do it regardless of anxiety. I would definitely get the dentists opinion though on whether it’s causing damage.

Thank you. I'm going to mention it at her check up
