Reflux

My baby girl was prescribed infant gaviscon for her reflux, it's been a week now and I feel like it worked for a day or two but now she's still just bringing up every feed like a waterfall and she seems constantly hungry. Is there anything else we can be prescribed and I can give to her whilst BF. Her weight has dipped and I'm debating if I should stop BF and put her on a thickened formula to help. I'm so conflicted I'm enjoying BF but I want to do what's best for my baby girl so she can keep some milk down.

Have you tried feeding her little and often?

she's kind of doing that herself now because I'm feeding her say every hour and a half/2 hours as she's not napping for as long as she normally does because she waking up hungry. Where as before she'd have solid 3-3.5 hour naps, sometimes I was having to wake her. She is 8 weeks old now so I don't know if that's the reason. But when she's awake she's not a happy bunny just consists of feeding and crying until she goes back to sleep. I feel like she doesn't 'play' and her development is going to fall behind
