My 6 week old has not pood in his nappy since he's been two weeks old, he only can go if I do the cycling motions and push his legs back. He has been dealing with constipation since he was 2 weeks, however I am afraid now incase he gets a lazy bowel as he isn't going into his nappy.
He is currently on laxidives.

Are your children’s vaccines up to date?

I would be seeking a health professionals advice, a 6 week old should not be taking laxitives!

Twizbe · 20/06/2022 05:57

How are you feeding?

DockOTheBay · 20/06/2022 06:00

Speak to your doctor. Presumably they prescribed him the laxative?

Raexx · 20/06/2022 10:40

Yes the Dr prescribed the laxidives, I try not to give it to him often. His poo is now a green colour.
I've expressed my concern with this to my gp and she just said he should grow out of it
I just don't know what else to do to make him go on his own

Is baby having breast or formula milk or both?

Raexx · 20/06/2022 13:52
