Hello everyone,

My son is going to get his tonsils out on Thursday and Im honestly dreading his recovery.
He is 4 years old, hates taking calpol let alone any other meds, a challange to get him to drink through the day and he's the worlds fussiest eater :(..
I have a 8 week old baby aswell.

I'm scared and have a gut feeling something bad is going to happen.

He had a sore throat about a month ago and it was an awful experience, he needed up chocking himself on his saliva and we had to go to hospital.

Any advice on what to do??!!

My Son had his out at age 4. He wouldn't take calpol either, we got a prescription for paracetamol suppositories and honestly they were a God send! Let him have all the ice cream and ice lollies he wants. He'll be fine :)
