Hi,

My LO woke in the night on Thursday at 10:30 and had been sick everywhere. He was really bunged up with dark green mucus too. Long story short I gave him so breast milk and every tine he was sick (a lot). He slept on and on pretty well and was ok in himself through mthe day, although didn't eat much at all. I put him to bed last night and he was fine, but at 5 this morning he woke up and I tried to get him back to sleep, but as he rolled over on his tummy and drifted off, he then was sick again. Thankfully not upset at all and right now he's in bed with us playing!

I just don't really know what to do, but am worried about him now not potentially eating for another day (he had small bits and pieces yesterday) he is drinking and I'll give him breast milk and water, but when do you start to worry that it's not just a bug, heat etc? He doesn't have a temperature btw and I've managed to help with his blocked nose.

As long as he's drinking it's ok, right?

Drinking is good, encourage ice pops, juice, water, breast milk, whatever fluids you can today and offer bits of food.

After sickness mine were off for a day or so but then appetite picked up quite quickly. Kids bounce back fast.

As long as he is weeing ok and happy in himself, then just keep doing what you are doing because you are doing everything right.

Unless dehydrated, lethargic, high temperature there’s not much a Dr would do with a child vomiting for 24 hours except ask you to do exactly what you are doing.

Thank you! You just need a bit of reassurance sometimes don't you?

I thought we were out of the woods, so when he was sick this morning it threw me and I started to worry.

They're such little troopers!
