My son is currently going through a bad eczema flare up that's lasted a month and a half so far and not getting any better. Currently starting seccond round of steroid cream, different one as the first one didn't do anything and it got worse. He's also been given a different daily cream. He's been referred to a dermatologist and we are keeping a food diary. Any suncream seems to irritate it and today its flared up even more and spread to the back of his neck. He cried for 2 hours scratching his skin. I've been giving him breastmilk baths and oat baths. Giving him puriton twice a day as directed by the doctors. I can't pin point anything he eats that could be flaring it up. Feel so bad for him and this heat is making it worse and must be more uncomfortable for him. Anyone have any suggestions or a light at the end of the tunnel of experiencing simular?
