Anyone else’s kids constantly got colds?!

DD (7) has had a runny nose and cough for about four weeks now (doctor has checked her over and said nothing unusual).

The baby seems to have got a snotty nose every couple of weeks since Christmas.

Arghhh!!! Anyone else experiencing this? Is it the result of suppressing all those germs in 2020?!

It’s not hayfever?

My first thought was hayfever too. Ive been suffering for weeks.

That aside, one of my DCs is ill very regularly. He has a varied diet but I do find giving vitamins has helped a bit.

Oh good lord yes. Every two weeks. I'm so sick of being covered in snot and kept awake by the coughing. Oh the coughing!

No colds here for weeks/months. Are you sure it’s not hayfever? What’s their diet like?

Their diet is great thanks.

I did wonder about hay fever, although it doesn’t really fit the bill of symptoms and the GP didn’t think it was either.
