Low grade temp for 4 days

Hi everyone, my little girl, nearly 2, has had a low grade temp of between 37.6 and 38 for the last 4 days. Her normal temp is anywhere between 37.2 and 37.5 so it's not that much above her average. She does seem to have a runny nose but is well otherwise, lots of energy, eating, drinking etc. but I do suffer from health anxiety and I'm totally worked up now that the temp isn't going away. I have a gp appointment on Tues but I guess I am just looking to see if anyone else has had this with their child? Thanks in advance!

I would gently suggest putting the thermometer in the drawer and going by what you see in front of you. If she seems fine then just keep an eye on her, as you would usually. You’ll know if she has a temperature to worry about just by feeling her, or kissing her forehead. Kids get all sorts of bugs, it is fantastic in the long term for their immune systems.

Thanks so much for your reply, I know, I guess I'm just concerned as now I know her temp is raised I feel like I need to keep checking it because I know fevers shouldn't normally last more than around 4 days so I am wondering to myself what would be causing it.
