Chicken pox timings

DS is 4 and has got chicken pox. Had them for 3 days now, he's been fine in himself, not much itching but a little more today. A couple are scabbed, a lot with blisters and a few just coming through. We have an event planned on Saturday - always bad timing 😂 - what are the chances of us being fully scabbed? Or should I just begin postponing?

Should be all scabbed by Saturday. Usually about 5-7 days for all to come out and dry up. Although I’d be more concerned about any siblings that haven’t got it yet as they’re likely in incubation period. We were exactly 2 weeks between kids showing spots.
