Hi my daughter is 7 and 8 weeks ago I noticed a small lympnode in her neck, a few when she had a cold. Took her to doctors and gave her antibiotics and told me to come back in 4 weeks if it’s still there it is and im
panicking! She’s well in herself. The lympnode is prob about baked bean size and moves, hasn’t grown or anything and can’t see it I can only feel it now if I feel.

anyone else’s kids have these? I did google and it said kids lympnodes are always feelable as they’re small and lympnodes in children appear big cos they’re smaller than adults. Im panicking cos doctor asked to go back unless he wants to see if it’s grown im
not sure. Thank you

Totally normal. Both my sons have palpable lymph nodes.

Hi @Anxiousmummy1187 I have the same problem with my 7yr ds. He's had enlarged nodes under his jaw on both sides and a few smaller ones down the side of his neck from age 2. I just posted about this a few hours ago hoping to get some relief as well. I'm also super paranoid and always fear the worst. he's been to a few Dr's, blood tests, even a biopsy when he was 4. all was clear but the nodes are still there. every little sniffle or cough scares me and makes me think its related to the nodes. He's twice complained of a pain in his leg and that also scares me. I just want those nodes gone!

We went back to doctors and she checked her liver spleen and other areas she said it’s a normal size a baked bean and moves freely and soft she said because she’s slimmer you can feel it she said nothing to be worried about x
