Health official urges face-mask for children citing possibility of Covid-19 causing the acute hepatitis

In a media briefing, Dr. Barbara Ferrer, Director of the Public Health Department for L.A. County, indicated that Covid-19 could result at very severe illness called multi-symptom inflammatory syndrome and even hepatitis in children. The health official appealed to parents, until more is known, to take measures to reduce the risk that their children become infected with COVID-19.
