My 5 year recently complains that her ears are sensitivity for the past couple of months. She will say its too loud and also she will say my ears are sensitive. Ive also noticed the past couple of months she asks you to repeat what Ive said. She did have reocurring ear infections from 9 months to 2 years old but she not had any until this year a few months ago.

Anyone else had the same thing? I wonder if her ear is still healing after the recent infection

Have you taken her to the GP lately?

I would definitely take her to the GP

I have had ear problems all my life, my hearing is under par and I get tinnitus. I often have infections and it takes a while for hearing to return to my normal. I find it difficult to hear most when there is background noise. Ideally when someone speaks to me it should be loud enough, clear and there should face me directly without covering their mouth. She’s probably still healing but it could be worth seeing your gp as they may want to do hearing tests.

@vodkaredbullgirl yes i took her April when she complained of ear ache. Doctor said she has a build up inside from the cold that she had and it should subside but there was no infection
