DS is 5 and has always been skinny. From birth we've had weight issues with him, a combination of genetics and CMPA.
Today I did his BMI and he's on the 18th centile. He's very very tall for his age though so he looks like a walking skeleton. He has a six pack!
He's very active and happy. Apart from his milk allergy and hayfever is very healthy and happy.
However, I'd like to try and see if we can get some more meat on him. I worry people look at him and his little sister and wonder if we're not feeding him. He totally takes after my dad who is also a rake.
When he was a baby we were told to give him coconut yoghurt, avocado and peanut butter which we did. However now out of those he'll only eat peanut butter.
He doesn't like sweet things and doesn't like to eat too much sugar. He only likes 'milk' and water to drink. He eats like a horse though. Especially breakfast when he has 3 weetabix, 1 slice of toast with butter and marmite and a big cup of soya milk.
So any ideas of things I can give him to help gain some weight. I was thinking of using barrista oat milk for him as there's more fat. Added complication is that his little sister always wants what he has so ideally I need to find something he likes but she doesn't.
