Purple mark on baby forehead

Just wondering if anyone experienced the same thing. My 13 week old seems to have a purple-ish mark between her eyes and up into her forehead, it’s a v shape and shows up more prominently in basically every photo of her. Is this anything to be concerned about? Obviously I can consult our GP, I just wondered if anyone had experienced anything similar? I know at this age her skin is thin and she’s pale as we protect her from the sun but just asking. Thank you

It's a stork mark...from where the storkcarried her in his beak!
My son had one. It was there for years but only obvious when he was hot and bothered. Not there now. He also had one at the back of his neck.
They're really common and nothing to worry about.

I agree with stork mark

Likely not to be concerned about as others have said. However, if it isn't marked on her body map in her red book which sprogs have any marks at birth, birth marks etc then you should ring your HV or GP and have it checked over and put on the body map.

My dd had exactly the same! Hers gradually faded over the years...its gone now.

A friends DD has that, she's 5 now and it's still there but not actually that noticeable to others. DS has a blue-grey birthmark on his bum/tailbone, the non-PC name is Mongolian Blue Spot, it's rare to have it one the face though but harmless.

I still have one 42 years on. Not as prominent as it was but shows up more when I'm tired or unwell . My 7 year old daughter has one exactly the same too.

Stork bite. My DS had a few but they faded over time. He has beautiful skin for a teenager now.

Angel’s kiss birthmark. They usually fade over time. My son had one and he is now 10 with no trace. He and his brothers all have stork bites on the back of their necks which are still there but covered by hair now.
