Possible allergy in 3 year old?

3 year old DD has always had a tendency to health problems involving sensitivities - she has diagnosed eczema and suspected asthma.

She also has family history of various skin conditions, mild food allergies, hay fever and asthma.

For the past month or so she has had this rash on her face that comes and goes. Its sore & itchy, she scratches until it bleeds if not supervised. She keeps picking at the spots so they aren't healing.

She's also had a series of tummy troubles which I'm fairly sure aren't a bug (doesn't seem poorly in herself, no one else in the family had it). Main symptoms being her telling us she feels sick, her tummy hurts and her bum hurts. And poos that are often either loose or sticky.

It seems to me to be pointing towards a potential allergy or intolerance? I've kept a food diary and I'm going to take her to the GP tomorrow but I'm interested in others thoughts/experiences in the meantime.

Does it improve with Piriton?

Possibly marginally but not significantly

Do you give it to her regularly after a flare up? After ds had allergy hives we had to give it for at least 3 days iirc.

Ah I hadn't tried this. Will try giving more consistently, thank you
