Strange red spots on baby’s face

Hi

Just after some advice or to see if anyone has seen this before?
We are currently away in Spain and my daughter has come up with these spots on her face (pic attached)
They are mostly flat, not itchy. She woke up with them 3 mornings ago. She doesn’t have a temperature and besides being a bit more fussy is okay. She is eating and drinking as normal. She has what looks like a heat rash on her arms and legs and all including the spots blanch under a glass.

Chickenpox has crossed my mine but they’re not blisters and she hasn’t got any more of them.
We are going to see a doctor this morning but don’t feel very hopeful.

Does anyone have any ideas? She bas another two on the other side of her forehead and one on her hand.

it does look like the start of chicken pox to me.

time to look up your travel insurance & a local dr in case you need it.

Would chicken pox take so long to come up/ not get worse? She woke up 3 days ago with these, I’ve checked and she has no new ones this morning.

The spots have gone a deeper red colour but have gone no worse/better. Can they just be localised to one place?

ime the blisters only start after a couple of days. and yes, sometimes children have very few spots.

are you in the sea/pool a lot?
it could also be a skin infection from that.

given that she's not well I might want to see a dr for it.

No she hasn’t been in the sea and has a small paddling pool what we filled with luke warm water from the tap. She has been in the pool but only once.

I’ll take her to tbh doctor today here and see what they say

The doctor said she thought they were something called Molluscum but after doing some research I am convinced they were papular urticaria which is a reaction to an insect bite. Have a read about both and see if any of those seem similar to what your baby has.
if in doubt I would take them to be checked over.
