Baby eczema

Hi everyone

so my wee boys arms look like this, I’ve spoke to a pharmacist as doctors now shut and they’ve said looks Like eczema but I’ve never seen anything like this? Just looking to see if anyone has experienced this ?

Can you got to out of hours ? Theres usually a gp and theyre usually good( and understanding!) if the babys uncomfortable Any rashes will probably get a good look at incase of anything a but more sinister

if its is eczema, use Surcare to wash the clothes and bedding in ( and your bedding if you co sleep)
and theyll give you some creams and itll clear up eventually

Looks more like a viral rash to me but hard to say. Have you done glass test? Is be otherwise well?

Yeah I could go to out of hours, it’s not bothering him at all just more me haha! He’s had similar on his stomach before and cleared up with aveeno
so not sure if it is just dry skin

Yes done the glass test, he’s absolutely fine within himself

Actually looking closer it does look more like eczema, he has some flaky skin there too

Yeah he does have wee flaky parts just I’ve never known eczema could look so red and angry

How did you get on at the out of hours? I would get some Mummys magic nappy care spray in just in case you get any more problems, works on eczema and chickenpox brilliant too, I always have a bottle in it’s brilliant xx

My baby is 3 months old and suffering from Eczema on her face, body and scalp. Some time that became worse. Dr. Gave me hydrocortisone 1% to use but i afraid to use it. Please help me to get rid coz my baby itching all the time on her scalp and face and crying.
