Lymph node help!

There's been a few threads on here about lymph nodes but I wonder if anyone has been through similar or can advise as getting worried something may be getting missed at this point.

2cm+ lymph node in child's neck since late 2021, now up-to 3 ultrasounds on the neck / node since then. Referral to has been put through to ENT in the past month but seemingly not under 2 week pathway. So not sure when we will get seen by ENT for them to decide whether to do biopsy.

Had 2 sets of blood tests this year, all OK.

Other symptoms -
Night sweats
Loss of appetite
Itchy skin
Frequent illness - did have persistent cough but that seems to have subsided.

Not sure what else we can do at this point, now there is a referral in place to ENT for them to decide whether a biopsy is needed, I'm just worried how long it will take to be seen.

Any advice or any reassurance from anyone whose been in a similar position?

If the night sweats aren’t connected to an illness/virus I’d be wanting another opinion.

No they're not. Seem to have been somewhat dismissed as they have been occurring for some time and not a recent thing.

We're in the Same boat still waiting for ent. He has had his lymph node in neck since December 2021. Bloods and blasts all normal. I can see it comes and goes in size when he is poorly. Hate the waiting game.

Sorry to hear you're in the same boat, hope ENT is in touch soon.

This node isn't reducing it's just stayed the same since it was found enlarged Sad

Apparently it can happen just stay large . Never go back down. Such a worry. Does it change size when you have the ultrasound or just stayed the same size throughout . When the doctor took the bloods he said if it was Cancer there would be other symptoms and would be very poorly very quickly. I look at that as a possitive as we're 5 months down the line? Such a worry
