Gastro bug

First of all, let me apologise - I'm run down, tired and stressed with general life and the moment and when I am it makes my anxiety sky rocket.

DD age 6 started with a vomiting bug overnight on Thursday into Friday morning. She stopped vomiting by 7am but was wiped out until mid afternoon. She's been better over the weekend, not 100%, a little off her food and some occasional complaints of tummy ache but no more vomiting. Then last night at 11am she vomited again after complaining of tummy ache since her evening meal. No further episodes.

Can this happen with a gastro bug? I've always assumed that once the initial vomiting passes then that's it. My anxiety is through the roof at the minute and it particularly relates to health so I'm worried something is wrong. She has no other symptoms, no diarrhoea, no high temp, no strong smelling urine or pain.

This is common in my experience, it's usually just because they have over eaten or eaten something too rich, and the stomach's normal healthy bacteria has not built back up.

Entirely normal. There's a thread at least once a month asking the same question.

Their stomachs remain sensitive for a short while. In the absence of other symptoms, I'd assume it's just a matter of giving it a little more time and letting normal gut flora build back up.
