Toddler with "big head"

Looking for some advice and reassurance.
My 2.3 year old boy has always had a big head.
He has approximately 53.5 cm in head circumference.

Our doctor doesn't seem worried but we'll still have an MRI next week to rule out problems.

Note: he is apparently developing well and has only some speech delay.

I myself have a big head: 59 cm.

Anyone else in a similar situation?
Thanks.

DS always had a massive head. I found some photos recently of when he was around 6 months old, his head was MASSIVE! His hands were pretty big too.

he always had trouble finding little hats and was in bigger sizes & was pretty much wearing adult hats in primary school. His head was bigger than mine (56cm, I just measured) in no time, he looked pretty much like he’d grown into proportion by year 2/3 though I’d say. He’s late teens now & his head is just fine. He’s around 5 ft 11 already so just big I suppose, although slim.
