2 week old has cold, advice please

My little boy is really congested with the cold has been for the past 3 days, he won't sleep or stay settled unless on our chest and of course I don't know how I'm going to manage having to stay awake at night while he is on top of me. How long does this take to usually pass? I have tried nasal spray doesn't seem to be helping much

Have you tried a wee bit of breast milk in his nostril? I found that worked quite well, otherwise sitting in a steamy room for a wee while.

I hope he gets better soon. My ds had a cold at 2 wks too and I was so scared and even told the Dr, and he just said she will be fine. I put baby Vaseline in her nose with a qtip and rubbed baby vicks on her. It did clear after a few days.

Any temperature?
Pulling in at neck, stomach, Ribs?
Nostrils flaring?
