What are these spots??

We’ve just been on holiday, the spots started on Wednesday we came back on Friday. More have developed since being home but not a lot. They’re on his arms legs and face, but the arm attached has the most.
he has had chicken pox previously and I was thinking they’d have started scabbing by now?
if they’re bites why would they be getting worse? He itches them occasionally but not a lot.
the red rings around a few only appeared today.
He seems fine otherwise

Any on hands or feet?
Maybe start of hand foot and mouth

MiniatureHotdog · 02/05/2022 13:32

Looks like molluscum?

dementedpixie · 02/05/2022 13:38

Molluscum doesn't come up quickly like that

ladybugcatnoir1 · 02/05/2022 14:01

Not on hands of feet, or mouth. He has had that before and it was a much more concentrated rash. This is quite sparse. Asides from the pics there's like 3/4 on his legs

Did you ever figure out what these were? As my daughters look a bit like this?

ladybugcatnoir1 · 17/11/2022 18:30

Hey, no! They just went away on their own didn't crust or anything.
Nursery insisted on seeing gp to confirm not chickenpox which they did. But were none the wiser. They suggested probably bites.

Where did you go on holiday?

I'd put money on it being bedbug bites from an old cot / bed mattress.

ladybugcatnoir1 · 17/11/2022 19:34

We went to Cape Verde. I'd probs agree but he shared a bed with me and I didn't get any at all.

How odd! It'll probably stay a mystery forever.
