My 3 month old has had cold after cold since being born (older dd in nursery) and produces an obscene amount of snot. I know colds in infants can last 2 weeks and we are only 5 days into this one. She can't lie flat and doesn't want to sleep on me at night. Just crying and uncomfortable. I aspirate with a good aspirator, and use calpol plug in and/or olbas oil. Sterimar nasal spray. Bed head raised etc. Please tell me your experiences with colds and what helped and please tell me the length of them shortens! I can spot signs of serious illness etc. this is not serious, just lengthy and causing upset for weeks at a time!
