Yellow eye after conjunctivitis

My toddler is 2 and has had an awful cough cold the last two weeks. This turned into croup followed by bacterial conjunctivitis. Doctors gave steroids for the croup and then gave antibiotics for his continuous cough. The antibiotic eye drops have worked and it is clearing but just wanted to check if it was normal for the eyeball to have a slight yellow tinge to it after conjunctivitis.

Its hard to tell if that is just a burst blood vessel in the eye causing that or if the actual white of the eye has a yellow tinge. If its the actual white of the eye go and see a dr urgently as with the current hepatitis outbreak going on I would want to rule that out. If its from the burst blood vessel then it will go soon.

I think it's from the burst blood vessel actually now you mention it. Will keep an eye on it though. Thank you 😊

Looks like a burst blood vessel. They go a funny brownish green colour after the initial bleed, but are harmless and fade in their own time.
