Molluscum- help!

Hi all, DS has had this molluscum spot for nearly 2 years, recently its started looking a little angry, does this look infected to you? Any advice on what I should do? Many thanks

They can go a bit angry before it goes away.

Are they contagious in that they will spread to other people or contagious that they will spread to another part of his body? If the immune system recognises it and can fight off the virus, is the latter still a worry? Many thanks

Yes they can spread to other people
They can also spread to other parts of the body. My dd had some in the crook of her arm and on her face and tummy. Ds only had a couple and they didn't spread. He got them just after dd
