So at 5 months I noticed what I thought was swollen lymph nodes. I was concerned that my baby might have an ear infection as he had also been scratching his ear a lot but the doctor said there was no infection and that swollen lymph nodes in babies are common and nothing to worry about.
after 6 weeks of it not going down I decided to go back for a second opinion.
this time the doctor said it felt more like a cyst but that it’s small and they won’t do anything about it.
It feels so weird to just leave a lump on my now 8 month olds neck and be relaxed about it. It’s the size of a pea I would say… it doesn’t seem to hurt him but it clearly irritates him as he’s always scratching at his neck where it is.
Has anyone else experienced this?
He’s perfectly happy and healthy in every other way so I’m trying to be rational and just trust the GP’s….
