Swollen lymph nodes 2yo

Hi I was wondering if anyone can help. My 2yo son had chicken pox and these were particularly bad/irritable on his back, neck and head. When he had them, as I was searching through his head to see how they were, I noticed pea sized lumps in his neck either side. I obviously worried and went the docs who said it's most likely in response to the chicken pox. Since then he was back at nursery and picked up a little cold too. (Don't know if this has added to the swelling) This was about 1.5 weeks ago since I first noticed them but they're still there and don't seem to be going down. The doc said to go back in 4 weeks if not gone down but I'm literally beyond myself worried that it could be something bad. Can't bare to Google anymore it's making me sick and everything suggests the worst. He's been complaining of tummy pain too so don't know if I'm being massively irrational??
Hope anyone can help - first time posting :(( x

Try not to worry, easier said than done I know, but they can stay swollen for a while.

Children’s lymph nodes are usually bigger than those of adults, so it’s easier to feel them …Lymph nodes can stay swollen for weeks after the infection or inflammation has cleared up

I was literally today at the Peds for the same thing! I could feel lumps on my child's neck. He was sick 2-3 weeks ago.
Doctor examined him said that he cannot feel anything! I then pointed out that when I touch his neck from behind I can feel it! He totally ignored me and funnily said to me,then don't touch him from behind! 🙄 Pretty common I guess for small children to have swollen lymph nodes. Some of them lymphs never return to normal.
