My daughter is almost 7 months and has been very very grumpy for the last week or so, I've put this down to teething as she's constantly putting everything straight into the mouth although no teeth yet! However, for the last 6ish days she's done about 5-7 dirty nappies a day and these are explosive every time. She's on dinner and lunch atm and before this they were pretty solid, I assumed this was because of teething but now I'm just now sure. She's a cmpa baby, so she's on nutramigen. But her nappy's are very loose, leaking every single time when we've never had this issue before, they are horrid in smell, quite mucusy and very bitty. Is this down to teething or is it something else? I am going to phone HV in morning anyway however I just woke up to the sound of her letting her bowels go in her sleep and I've changed her bum immediately after as I knew it was going to be a leaker, and in the 5 seconds it's taken me to put on her fresh nappy, the old nappy which was sat on the bed to be wrapped up has leaked through the duvet and onto my mattress, I thought maybe she'd peed whilst I was changing her and I smelled it to be sure but no it's defo poo juice, if this is teething is it really that normal for it to be that runny it leaks that badly?? I'm now changing my bed and sleeping under a blanket as my duvet is soaked all the way through 🙃
