Sugar in urine or not?

My DD is 12. She hasn't been feeling well with a sore throat and stomach ache for three days. I took her to the GP today who diagnosed tonsillitis. Whilst there we gave him a urine sample as requested. He said no infection but would send off anyway. When I got home I tested her urine using the strips we have at home as she is constantly going to the toilet so I assumed UTI too. Whilst it came up no infection it did however show glucose if I'm reading it right. Should I be concerned by this or not. Thanks in advance :)

@LostInTheColonies

How did you get on OP *@greyskies1*? How is your daughter?
Hi I contacted the GP after retesting the urine as again it showed a trace of glucose. He said not to worry as he has sent a sample off which would show sugars being present. He said they don't tend to worry too much with it being such a small amount especially as she was unwell but did also say I can take her in Friday for a finger prick test to check her blood sugar. I asked if it was possible to come in sooner to which he said no as it wasn't an emergency
