Cows milk and constipation

Hi guys! This is my first thread. My DD is 18 months old and since we switched her to cows milk she has suffered awful constipation. The drs prescribed laxatives but we cant keep giving cows milk and laxatives every day, that cant be good for her! We have recently switched her to alpro oat milk which she loves and her poo's have returned back to normal, which is great!
I have just realised there is a toddler version of the oats milk which contains more fats, proteins and vitamins in. After looking online its not widely available and there is a risk of it being out of stock etc! I have looked into toddler formula but alot of information says thats not good as contains too much sugar! Its a bit of a mind-fill knowing what the right thing to do. Shall i keep her on the normal oat milk and make sure her diet has enough cheese, yoghurts (which shes fine with). And what about the vitamin D drops? Please help! Im loosing my mind reading online! Haha! Thanks mama's xx

Hiya have you thought about Alpro 123 soya milk if you are worried about nutritional value? It's more widely available than the oat version. The toddler version has a giraffe on it.

Though at 18m I'd keep her on the normal oat milk and like you said just keep giving the normal dairy foods that you can. I have a CMPA toddler and do the same (and oat is far less sweet!)
