Hey everyone can anyone help to tell me what this is on my 13 month olds mouth? 2 weeks ago it looked like a tooth coming through but clearly not. An abscess maybe? He has been poorly with an ear infection and cold for 3 weeks not sure if this is related. My poor boy. Will get a dentist appt for tomorrow x

Looks to me like a tooth before its erupted? Or am I meant to be looking at something else? They can take weeks to burst forth (one of mine has only made it half way and I'm 46)

Would a dentist see without a negative Covid test? Mine here won't with those symptoms

@Matchingcollarandcuffs thank you for your response. It may well be but I didn't think it looked like a tooth. His gum is all funny shaped too. Hoping the dentist will see him. Not sure what else to do if not. I have had PCRs done on him and all negative.
