Question about the chicken pox vaccine

Off the back of the other thread I just wanted to ask about the vaccine. Dd1 had very mild chicken pox at 11 months. She then got it again from school years later and was a bit off colour and had quite a few spots but wasn’t ‘covered’. She passed it on to dd2 who was only 6 months and she was much worse and had a lot of spots. The nurse we saw said that if under one when they get it they’re likely to get it again. In which case I’m wondering if I should have dd2 vaccinated ? Same for dd1 even though she’s had it twice? Does anybody have any reliable info or insight?

I’d suggest an immunity blood test. These places that offer the vaccine normally do those too. I wouldn’t want to vaccinate unnecessarily
