Appeared on DD's (10) cheek. She had covid a couple of weeks ago and this has appeared. I gave the occasional dry skin and her gd has psoriasis.

Looks more like psoriasis to me - covid seems to cause a flare up for a lot of people after recovery

Thank you, she doesn't have it (or hasn't before!) but I suppose it has to start sometime.

I have psoriasis and it looks like my patches.

However, Psoriasis and excema are often misdiagnosed as each other so it's important to get a proper diagnosis as it just as easily be excema / dermatitis.

I was on increasingly stronger and stronger steroids specific for treating excema for years before being properly diagnosed with psoriasis and being given the right treatment literally changed my life.

Be persistent and don't be fobbed off.

Thank you @Floofsquidge. My DF has it really badly and suffers hugely with it. Poor lass, it's pretty visible on her face.

Doc thinks it's eczema. He's prescribed steroid cream and soap substitute for her. I know nothing about managing it!!
