Sun cream & eczema skin?!

Hi, I was wondering if anyone has found a 5star UVA sun cream that has been okay with eczema. My 5 year old flares up every year and I’ve tried a range of different store brands including soltan, aldi, amber solaire and don’t get any different results. I now have a 8m old who also suffers from eczema and I’m less willing to trial and error on him as his eczema is head to toe.

I was looking at the child’s farm sun cream only to find the UVA is only 3 stars. After doing some research it seems the higher the UVA rating is the more it seems to irritates sensitive skin and I feel torn because I don’t want to sacrifice long term health for an eczema flare up but also don’t want them to be irritated and uncomfortable.

If anyone has found a suncream with a 5 star or 4 star minimum UVA rating that has not irritated skin (and I might be pushing my luck but also doesn’t stain clothes) could you please let me know I’m will to spend a little extra if it works. Thank you

I use the La Roche Posay children's sunscreen on my son who had bad excema as a baby/toddler. He never reacted to it.

Our dermatologist recommended Altruist sunscreen. I think it has been specially formulated for very sensitive, eczema prone skin and was created by a dermatologist. We haven’t tried it yet but will probably get some for when the sun returns!

Like pp we also use La Roche Posay childrens suncream, its a spray. Rather expensive but he's never reacted to it and its fab.
