7 month old constant moaning

Hi - I'm wondering if anyone can help. For just over a week my baby is just constantly moaning and throwing herself backwards. I cannot for the life of me work out what's wrong with her. I've tried all teething products, she's weaning well and sleeps moderately ok overnight (10-11 hours) within 5/10 minutes of waking up on a morning the moaning starts. No bottle or toy seems to snap her out of it. I was recommended to download the 'wonder years' app and this is supposed to be a happy stage but clearly she is not. I can't see anything medically wrong with her. Has anyone else been through this or do you think I should get her seen by a health visitor/GP to see if it's anything more? It's really starting to get me down, I feel I've lost my happy content baby.
Thank you.

Is she bored? Life can get boring sometimes (ask my 5yo dgd). And moaning is standard for kids. She's just getting some practice! Wink

I've bought new toys and go out most days. She doesn't want anyone but me and even I can't make her happy. It gets so tiring.

I found 7-9 months a really difficult age… they want to move but can’t and they go through a lot of development changes during that time which can be very frustrating for them. Separation anxiety kicks in around now too. It’ll pass Smile

I had the exact same experience as @Vicky1989x. i hated 7-10 months. Constantly whining and crying and moaning. I don’t know who cried more, her or me

I found once my daughter could walk and be more independent it got easier.

Sorry not helpful of advice and its a cliché but it will pass..

Agree with this, 7-12 months was a frigging nightmare with mine. They want to be mobile but can’t. Moaning all day long. It was during the first lockdowns too, still haven’t fully recovered.

She sounds ok otherwise but maybe give the Health Visitor a ring if she’s still the same in a week or two.

I get this OP, DD is 7 months and unless she’s about 2 inches away from my face or boob will moan at me constantly. Only she can crawl so I have no escape 😂 I do get a brief respite with feeding her random stuff…cubes of feta cheese on the highchair was my saving grace tonight!

Thank you all for your responses. Honestly it's made me feel a lot better. I thought I was doing something wrong or there was something wrong with her. Really appreciate all your responses!

Thanks for posting this OP. My 7.5 month old is the same and reading the replies are comforting. The constant screeching is really starting to get to me 🥴
