One year old often sick in mouth

DD is 15 months, very healthy, active, a great eater and sleeper. I've quite often noticed her being sick in her mouth and swallowing it back down. This doesn't cause her any distress. More rarely it will come out - again no reaction from her before or after, just like when a much younger baby brings up some milk. Is this normal immature digestion or should I get it check out?

Sounds like it could be reflux. Does she have any allergies? Might be worth getting it looked into.

My DD had reflux from 5 weeks old and only outgrew it around 17/18 months when she was walking more confidently. She wasn’t as sicky as she was as a baby but didn’t puke now and again up until then.

No allergies as far as I can tell. I suspected she might have had silent reflux when she was younger but it seemed to go away once she was on solids. She loves food and eats loads - which I guess could be part of the problem. She also sucks her finger a lot so swallows a lot of saliva. I guess it's best to get it checked.

Might have solved the mystery - I mentioned it to DH who told me he's had the same for as long as he can remember so I guess it's genetic!
