2 Month Old Stuffy Nose

My baby has a really stuffy sounding nose, especially when lying down as though she is congested.
We are all just getting over covid, this is the only thing lingering over her thankfully.
I have been wearing Snufflebabe myself through the day (because the box says 3 months+) so that she can smell it when contact napping and have been putting it on a muslin cloth to tie to my bed so she can smell it from her crib. Tbh it doesn’t feel like it’s doing much and I’m not sure what else I can try.
First time mummy just looking for some advice really - hoping to get her a better nights sleep. Sad

I'm in a similar boat! We bought a cold mist humidifier which seems to help a bit and a nasal aspirator. Also saline drops

Sterimar do a nasal spray that can be used from birth, we found it good.

You can try raising one end of her crib slightly so she's not lying completely flat.

Can you sit with her in a steamy bathroom for a while if it's particularly bad?

@Pantheon Thanks so much for your reply, I will have to look into that!
Is there any humidifiers and nasal aspirator that you recommend?
I have the one that came with the Tommee Tippee care kit but the thing is too flipping big to fit in her nose! No idea what baby they designed it for.

@lilahbelle Thank you so much for your reply! I will look into that spray thank you - will I get it from Boots?
I managed to tilt her next to me crib a little - the health visitor told me off and said she should be flat on her back for safe sleeping. But I mean, if she can’t breathe surely that’s not safe sleeping either? Hmm I was just trying to help her.
Oh that’s a fab idea, I will definitely give that a go thank you so much!

Saline nasal spray definitely, sterimar is in boots or most pharmacies.

We had a nasal aspirator where you stick one end in baby's nose and suck through the other, and all the snot collects in a little container so you don't suck it up yourself! It's extremely satisfying to use and definitely works, but my baby hated it! You can get them in Boots, along with the nasal spray.

It's definitely fine to raise her crib slightly, it's designed for that! I think by the time they're 3 months you can use the calpol plug in decongestant and it's fab.
